Meow! I'm Arid, a cat fur from right outside of Philadelphia. I play clarinet and enjoy Formula 1 racing.

I got my start in the fandom in January 2017 after finding the original Pennsylvania Furries forum. I was somewhat active there until it shut down on December 31, 2018. Before I found that forum, however, I found myself into vore. In 2015 I made a Fur Affinity account just to access vore art. Eventually I found some local "furs" pages there, including for Philadelphia and Pennsylvania. I eventually decided to do a Google Search on "Pennsylvania furs" and that's how I found the PA Furs forum. I am still mildly active on their Discord server and Telegram chat.

I have Asperger Syndrome. It's extremely difficult for me to socialize normally and make friends in real life, along with other setbacks that contribute to (but not necessarily cause directly) my serious lack of self-esteem. Nevertheless, AS has as many benefits, if not more so, than drawbacks. These include certain very high talents (the biggest one for me being music) and a desire to pursue special interests (for instance, I'm OBSESSED with F1 stats).
